From Pollution to Protection: Advancing a Global Plastics Treaty, Regional Pollution Frameworks and Mercurys Action for Biodiveristy, Climate and Ocean Health

The session will illustrate the scientific and policy linkages between plastic, mercury, other forms of pollution, biodiversity loss, climate change and ocean degradation and present practical SPREP supported tools and projects that assist countries with national data collection policy development, and implementation of the Biodiversity Framework.
